In-situ formation of 2D-TiCx in Cu-Ti2AlC composites: an interface reaction study

چکیده
We have explored the fabrication of Cu based Ti2AlC composite focusing on processing method and reaction which takes place at matrix-reinforcement interface to yield 2D TiCx. In due course consolidation Cu-Ti2AlC; formation TiCx via between by forming solid solution Al (CuAlx) was facilitated. This interfacial has been elaborated analyzed in light corroborated results.
